Once a year the restaurants of historic St. Augustine gather to compete in the Annual "Taste of St. Augustine." This event is sponsored by Northeast Florida's newspaper, The Folioweekly. In April 2002 we were proud to be voted Grand Prize Winner for "Best Upscale Taste" by the highly distinguished panel of judges.

Arrington's Top 15

In both August 2002 and August 2004 Arrington Publishing, publisher of the B&B Journal, selected the Old City House as one of their Top 15 B&B's and Country Inns and awarded our restaurant "Best Evening Cuisine."

In September 2002 the Old City House Inn and Restaurant was voted one of the Top 2 B&Bs by locals and visitors in the "Best of St. Augustine." The "Best of St. Augustine" is a poll taken by St. Augustine's local newspaper,

James and Ilse,
We would like to thank you for the wonderful weeknd stay we had at Old City House. Both of you, being so friendly, made us feel very warm and welcome. The room was perfect and the added wine and cheese gathering was relaxing, not to mention a chance to meet new people. The suggestions that were given by James on the sights to see were great choices. We are looking forward to returning, hopefully once or twice a year and would love to stay at the Inn. Once again, thank you for your extended hospitality, making our stay a comfortable one, and for making my birthday an occasion I'll cherish.
