Augustin Room

Our Augustin Room is located on the first floor and has a private entrance located adjacent to the Inn’s Office and Inn Keeper’s Residence.  This large room has hardwood floors, a queen-size, hand-carved, four-poster bed, cable TV and VCR, and an en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and shower.  A beautiful stained glass door separates the bath area and bedroom.  The room also has a small sitting area with a pull-out full size sofa bed.

Our 16th Century Spanish Soldier, tragically killed by the misfire of his own musket while on duty, continues to walk around the Old City House Inn and Restaurant where his sentry post was located. Never realizing he died, our protective spirit continues to guard his post and all those who come in peace and good spirit during the holidays and all year round. Come to Old City House’s “Spirits Bar” to enjoy a warming drink and experience our welcoming spirit!
