St. George Room

The St. George Room is our most popular room and is located on the second floor.  The room has a large sunburst window looking south towards Palm Row, a quaint residential subdivision built in the late 1800s.  The room has a large Jacuzzi tub separated from the main bedroom area by plantation shutters.  The room also has a queen size four-poster iron bed, cable TV and DVD, and an en suite bathroom with bath tub and shower.

Our 16th Century Spanish Soldier, tragically killed by the misfire of his own musket while on duty, continues to walk around the Old City House Inn and Restaurant where his sentry post was located. Never realizing he died, our protective spirit continues to guard his post and all those who come in peace and good spirit during the holidays and all year round. Come to Old City House’s “Spirits Bar” to enjoy a warming drink and experience our welcoming spirit!
